These are cultured, matched black freshwater pearls, 7mm in diameter, slightly flattened, black or black peacock overtone. These black pearls are color-enhanced by a radiation process (All black/black freshwater pearls are color enhanced ... As opposed to Tahitian black sea pearls, for example.) The pearls were selected in and hand carried from China. The post is 10k gold-plated and the post holder or cap is in the shape of two coiled petals.
