This 18" strand of cultured matched freshwater pearls was hand carried from China. The pearls are round to very near round, white, or white with a light rose overtone, 4.8-5.0 mm in size and graduated very slightly from clasp to center. The pearls are individually double-knotted on a nylon strand. The clasp is 14k gold (stamped), a delicate and elegant filigree ovoid style with safety catch. The strand is attached to the clasp by a "French twist", a coiled gold wire, stylish and improves on wear. The necklace is packaged in an attractive embroidered silk purse.
