18" strand of cultured matched freshwater pearls hand carried from China. Pearls are round to near round, white, or white with light rose overtone, 5.5 - 6.0 mm in size, graduated very slightly from clasp to center. Pearls individually double-knotted on a nylon strand. The clasp is style commonly referred to as lobsterclaw, a sturdy and easy-to-fasten gold-colored spring-loaded hook. The necklace is packaged in an attractive embroidered silk purse.
